No Bullshit is an improvised musical response to the era of rapidly developing generative AI, hustle capital culture, divisive identity politics, and the general overwhelm of technology as a usage in order to emphasize maximum efficiency over real human connection. Four artists of wildly different musical backgrounds (Leanna Keith on flutes, Marina Albero on piano and dulcimer, John-Carlos Perea on cedar flutes and electric bass, and Elias Chanteloup on taiko drums) come together to create an album that is not quite jazz, not quite world music, not quite experimental music, not quite classical, but a combination that defies labels and containers.
